Angela Stanford Foundation annual events are the driving funding source for our organization, and we are thankful for our generous sponsors and event participants for the Let Your Light Shine golf tournament and the new A Night With The Stars. Let Your Light Shine is held at a Fort Worth country club and we kick off each tournament with our Ignite the Future Junior Clinic. Then the evening tournament begins with the first nine holes played before the sun goes down, and guests play the second nine holes as glow-in-the-dark golf with LPGA pros. We are pleased to announce that in 2011, our tournament grossed $118,110, funding 2012 Angela Stanford Foundation college scholarships as well as donations to Lena Pope Home and the First Tee of Fort Worth.
In 2010, funds raised by the tournament helped the Foundation form and fund the inaugural Robin Thayer Athletic Memorial Scholarship at Texas Christian University. Named for her dear friend, the now yearly scholarship honors Robin, who passed away in the fall of 2010 after a brief but fierce battle with cancer.

A Night with the Stars
The Angela Stanford Foundation hosted the 3rd annual "A Night With The Stars" dinner and concert on May 7th, 2014.
The event was held at Joe T. Garcia's restaurant in Fort Worth and featured three country music artists who each preformed during the evening - Palmer Lee, Pat Green and Tracy Lawrence.
All proceeds from the event benefited the Angela Stanford Foundation's scholarship fund. To date the Foundation has given 24 scholarships away to Texas students affected by cancer. There were 12 scholarship recipients in attendance at the event. The event was a great success, raising over $64,000 for the Foundation.
Ignite The Future
We had so much fun at this year's "Ignite The Future" Junior Clinic. The Junior Clinic is 45 minutes of learning, laughing and getting to know each other, and occurs annually right before tee off for the "Let Your Light Shine" Tournament.
